There will be a more detailed post coming; howbeit, TastySpleen muted 888 claiming it is because of this website and TastySpleen. An itemized list of information on this website to why the player 888 was muted was requested; however, haven't received a thing from TastySpleen.
First: You cannot legitly mute a player in a game for something that is written outside of a server on the internet - The World Wide Web. That's like Counter-Strike sensation player "s1mple" being muted for something written here on this website. Doesn't make sense does it? Because there is more to it.
Second: TastySpleen does not even know who actually wrote what is here to mute a player in a game on a server. Bottom-line, it's just not fair to the player 888.
Third: Really? Like seriously what leg does TastySpleen stand on to justify this move. [BTF]Fatknitty donates to TastySpleen and he wanted 888 muted for shits and giggles. That makes more sense because BTF is pretty much TastySpleen. Knew adding [BTF] Dead Beat to the list of shame would cause backlash, but it is what it is. Recently, [BTF]Fatknitty started up a mute riot against 888 again because [BTF]Fatknitty couldn't win in game. If you recall, [BTF]Fatknitty was the same who made a complaint to mute 888 in the shout box just about two years ago and he was appeased. Again, 888 was breaking no server rules to warrant a mute so TastySpleen reached outside the server for some non-foundational reason to why.
Like I said, more revealing post(s) will be coming. The admins were reached out to for more clarification, but little to no response has been received. So if admins do not address questions/concerns, do they have a right to get upset when it's posted about? They have always been given a chance to explain, they just don't. This website is pretty huge (like Pasta Ssempa said) and it looks like TastySpleen has never liked that. If you type 888-Legend.com in the game, TastySpleen has it set up to kick you.
