This is a lie. A fabricated myth. 888 just uses BFG very well. He has even been called a "pro" with the BFG. The majority of these "players" (making this wrong assertion) use BFG, but just not as well. Truth be told, 888 will use whatever weapon he can get his hands on. BFG is NOT 888's number one kill weapon. The SSG is 888's number one kill weapon, holding a position of well over 120,000 frags. The second kill weapon of choice for 888 is the RL, standing at almost 103,000 frags and rising. The third weapon of choice would be between the RG and the BFG, they both sit at almost 52,000 frags apiece. See diagram below. See the problem is, when haters are losing and/or do not measure up, they will make up any excuse to justify why they are found wanting. 888 does not win simply because of a gun. He wins because he is good and knows how to play. 888 plays very strategically. Strange thing about it, on other foreign servers, powerups and BFG are sought out by the seasoned players and no one complains. Could it be that IT IS PART OF THE GAME?!?! This is a main reason why 888 does not prefer to play on servers that remove powerups and BFG. The maps were designed with these items in mind. Removing these elements throws off the equilibrium of the map and does not allow the map/game to be played at its full potential.
